Hi Sophie. I am not sure how this happened, but I don't think Mia's surname is mentioned at all! I really can't say why - but it is Cooper. Just so's you know!

OK - the horse thing confuses a lot of people! Initially it was meant to have a rider on it, which would make sense because of the fox hunt scene, early on in Running The Risk. But the person on the horse just didn't look right so was removed. So there you have it!
The next Shapeshifter Audio CD is for Running The Risk and that's out in Spring 2009 - you'll have to make enquiries at your local library though. Get them to order it in!

It would be hard to choose between a fox, a peregrine and an otter, but I think the fox just about wins for me. The fox in the picture is not (sadly!) my pet, but a lovely semi-tame creature called Eleven (spooky?!) at the Hydestile animal sanctuary in Surrey. They were kind enough to let me get her into a photo with me. She wasn't all that keen, to be honest! But she was lovely. A really fab experience.
