I am one of your fans from Hong Kong and I love every book in the Shapeshifter series. Could you please write some more sequels to the series like what Dax and his friends did in Spain or did Lisa finally dowsed for the Cola mums? I would really love to read them. It was really difficult to savour every chapter and read it slowly, as the story is so gripping that I could hardly put the books down even when I was extremely sleepy.

The Cola I would most like to be is Mia because she is nice and benevolent. Sometimes I really wish that I could be a healer too so that I could help others in pain or just send some comfort to others. Also, I think I am a little similar to her because I am also quite sensitive to what people say to me or treat me. How about you? Do you have a favourite character?

The last book really shocked me and I nearly burst into tears! Your books must have magical powers that can control our emotions!! By the way, thank you for your useful writing tips, I will try my best using them.

Sorry about making you cry - well, actually I'm not really! I do make sure my stories always end on a bright note, though. I can't really choose a favourite character as I love them all - but I have to admit that I like Spook probably more than I should...

Wow! Your books are amazing! I've followed the Shapeshifter series since I first saw the Finding the Fox in my school library. I've got a question though. Has Wolf-boy actually got a name? Because throughout the series, he's only called wolf-boy or the first shapeshifter.

Something weird happened to me while I was in Cornwall once. I was walking down to the local corner shop with my dad to get a paper, and I noticed that the road that we were staying on was called Tregarren Road! I was really surprised and instantly thought of the first two books of your series. I was even more surprised to see some movement in a bush next to me and to see a young red fox poke its head out! Then, when we were exploring around where we were staying, I saw in the distance an old tin mine! Wow. Talk about a story.

I think that your books are really great though, and I've let two of my friends borrow my collection of books and they have since become addicted!

No - Wolf boy never did get a name. Like Mia's surname, it just never turned up!

I just finished reading your series Shapeshifter (not in order, took the library ages to get them in), and I think it is absolutely fantastic. My favorite was Dowsing the Dead (the last one I read). It was superb. How the heck did you come up with crucifying Dax on the windmill? I would never have thought of that in a million years and that's saying something (I'm considered more than a bit strange). Anyway I love your books and really want the series to continue so PLEASE write some more. I hope they make the series in to a movie. If I was a COLA I'd proberbly be a Shapeshifter as it would suit my personaily.

I guess I'm more than a bit strange, too, Samara, to come up with such ideas. Was pretty nasty of me. My editor was shocked. Sometimes it just goes that way, though...
